The Wrecker

The yellow wrecker is more than a graphic. It connects Freddie’s Cruise-In to the history of Freddie’s Garage and a local automotive tradition that’s still going strong today.

Roots
Freddie’s wreckers have been a familiar sight around Vassalboro and all over Maine for generations, becoming part of the local automotive landscape.
Today
Freddie’s Garage remains an active part of the community, with newer generations of its tow trucks continuing the tradition on local roads.
Cruise-In
The classic yellow wrecker carries that history into Freddie’s Cruise-In and has become the event’s visual signature on posters, shirts, stickers and social media.
